Balance/Falls Management

This program is for patients with decreased balance that are at risk for falls. Each patient is evaluated by nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language therapy. Patient's deemed at risk will receive an individualized treatment plan. This plan includes training to decrease fall risk in their living environment and to improve safety during their day-to-day activities.

Pain Management

Designed for patients with acute or chronic pain, this program involves all team members including nursing, the physician and the therapists. The therapist utilizes hands on skilled therapy to decrease pain and modalities such as infrared, diathermy, electrical stimulation or ultrasound in the patient's treatment plan. Our interdisciplinary team approach brings about improved quality of life and ultimately improved rehabilitation outcomes.

Strength/Endurance Training

Our Physical and Occupational Therapists develop strengthening and endurance programs for all patients based on their prior functional levels while considering their current level of performance. Through the utilization of our state of the art equipment and evidence-based treatment protocols, patients are often able to achieve or exceed their prior level. Equipment utilized may include: the NuStep®, Colorado Cycle®, Omnicycle®, rickshaw, pulleys, standing frame and therapeutic modalities.

Cognitive Linguistics Therapy

Speech/Language Pathologists assist with not only communication and swallowing skills but cognitive/linguistic skills. This includes evaluation and treatment plan development to address potential deficits in the any of the following areas: orientation, attention/concentration, organization, memory, reasoning, high level thought processing and visual special neglect/perception.
